A DAY WE FLEW
FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

Challenge Air for Kids & Friends puts children and young adults with special needs in the co-pilot seat of a real airplane, flown by a volunteer pilot. On January 25, we brought our Bonanza and our Lance down from Tampa Executive and joined the Fly Day at Fort Lauderdale Executive.

Some co-pilots climbed in grinning. Some needed a minute, a headset and a family member close by. Every one of them came back down with a signed Fly Day Co-Pilot Certificate and a story to tell.

For our pilots it was a reminder of why shared ownership matters: well-kept airplanes and ready crews mean we can say yes when a day like this comes along.

"Every kid came back smiling ear to ear. What a privilege to share our dream with such amazing families!"
Noah Gray · Volunteer Pilot, Eagle Squadron
